Olive Pants

I bought some olive pants today. They are very nice dockers and I really like them, but Olive is one of those colors that doesn't seem as legit as other khaki colors. Maybe I think about these things way too much?

It was an odd time because I bought them at my friend Megan's work. She was in an odd mood, and when I went for a "hello, good to see you hug" she didn't respond. The funny part was that one of her co-workers saw and thought that I was harassing her... lol Oh, well. But, as always, Megan is a great conversationalist so I had fun the short time I was there.

At least I got some good pants out of the deal.

5 Foot Saddam

I saw a Hispanic man today that was 5 feet tall and looked exactly like Saddam Hussein; little mustache and all! It scared me at first but then I remember that Saddam was killed almost 2 years ago and was taller than 5 feet, so I settled down and even chuckled a little.

You know the Baghdad Swords? The base is littered with helmets from fallen Iranian soldiers from the Iran-Iraq war. I don't think that kind of memorial would fly here!?

This is funny... To me at least...

Oh, and about the Job fair! It sucked. There where about 1,000+ people there when I got there an hour before the thing was over with. Who knows how many where they the 4 hrs prior? I handed out all my resumes at least. The good thing for me is that 90% of those are there for Elementary positions.

Fast and Rainy

I wont have time to make my post all snazzy today... pulling a double. But I would like to leave you with this thought...

We are one of the only generations in American history to not have added a state to the union. What do you think it would be like if/when Puerto Rico where to join the union officially. The 51 States of America?

Where are the days going?

My Favorite Comedian (Died a couple of years ago)

Today was a A+ day, I was a little distressed while watching "Cable News Channel" today. First of all, I can hardly watch CNC because it is so bent to the one side on purpose to fit a demographic. Secondly, I was so depressed after watching CNC for only 30 mins or; so because of all the gloom and doom pointing fingerisms....

Take a breath...

Then I went to McTown. On the way the song "Age of Aquarius" came over the radio. I love Radio. I know it has some trippy lyrics, but it was almost a spiritual experience when contrasted to the garbage that was broadcast over the TV.

TV Sucks except for Dancing With the Stars, that can stay.

The Sweet Spot

So this morning I found and stayed in the sweet spot for way too long. You know the "sweet spot" the most comfortable position in your bed that is just so hard to get out of... yeah I lived in that today. It was great.

Coincidentally, I got almost nothing done today... ha ha...

So I am going to start a new feature starting today... It is the Flickr account of the week. Each week I will choose an artist from Flickr and put a link to a picture of theirs. I will also Introduce the artist and say why I chose them for the given week. This first week will go to Karen Murray Photography. I love her photos, she is one of my best friend's moms, and she is always helping me out and giving me advice.

To Whom It May Concern:

I feel sick. In more than one way too. I feel physically sick, I think it is my diet for the last few days getting back at me. I also feel sick to the fact that I have so many big decisions coming up; things and events that I know are not over my head, but that feel this way.

I am at the threshold of a new adventure in my life and taking the first few steps here is a big deal to me. Others might look at it as a series of trivial happenings but to me they are giants that need to be conquered.

I am so thankful that I have such a cast of encouraging minds behind me, many much smarter than I, that have said that this is a good thing for me, a path easily decided and sought after. It makes me smile.

The only thing I feel holding me back now is Target. I love working there but at the same time they love me working there too. This is awkward because I work there almost full time now and am having trouble finding time and energy to do what I feel needs to be done. :(

It is getting better everyday.

It has been a while.

So I finally remembered my google password so now I have access again to my blog... lol...

I actually have had so much on my plate with subbing and target that I have not had much time for anything else. My bad.

I am alive and I will start posting regularly again... soon... i hope. :)

To Infinity And Beyond

I heard an interesting quote today that has been bobbling around in my head today.

"If two people have the exact same views as one another, then one of them is not necessary."

I don't think I agree with it, and I am kind of upset at people who say things like this to try and prove points. There are better ways of showing what you mean then telling half truths and making up situations.

Here is something very cool. NASA is taking suggestions on what to name the Node 3 for the International Space Station. Most people are submitting "COLBERT" because Stephen Colbert asked everyone to on his show yesterday. I went along with it too. Ha Ha.

Here is the link. http://www.nasa.gov/externalflash/name_ISS/index.html

Alot to Catch Up On

Glad to be back!!! Thanks for Having Me!!!

My internet has basically sucked the last week. I am sorry. Rather than that I have been completely swamped with my new work at Target and getting ready for the Grand Opening on Sunday.

That being said, Alot has happened in the last few days, but I am not one to dwell the past... so forget it.

Moving on, work is great, can't complain. I am doing well and standing out in a sea of red. My running is doing well and I have lost 5 lbs since last week. All is well in my world, but I'm kind of a jerk because I forgot about Michelle's Violin Solo that she was to preform on Wednesday.... I totally forgot and said I would work some more. That sucks on my part... I feel really bad. :(

Maybe this will cheer me up...
